Stone Forest in Madagascar Emotive World | Grand Tsingy is the name of the largest stone forest in the west of Madagascar. The forest is filled with a maze of stone with a height of approximately 300 feet where the rock contains calcium which is eroded by tropical rains. |
'Tsingy' has a special meaning that is where one can not walk on the stones. It was here for a number of animal species, including 11 species of lemurs.

Alvarez spent five days to arrive in the forests of Madagascar's capital city. In addition to the lemurs, he also noted that there are various small carnivores, mongoose, bats and about 100 species of birds and 45 species of reptiles.
